On February 2, 2026, the FDA transitioned from the Quality System Regulation (QSR) to the Quality Management System Regulation (QMSR). With the transition to QMSR, the FDA retired their former inspection technique, the Quality System Inspection Technique (QSIT). QSIT was replaced with Compliance Program Manual for Medical Device Manufacturers.
